Day 10 -- October 7 => Nuntala to Buspa

Padam on the suspension bridge

Our day started off with a descent to a suspension bridge over the Dudh Kosi at 1493m/4900'. The Dudh Kosi, which in English means Milk River, contains water that comes all the way from Everest base camp.

After a long rest, we finally were going up (yes!). Ascending past Choku, we continued up another hill to Khari Khla (2004m/6575'), arriving just before noon for lunch. We had a nice grassy terrace with some sun, although flies proved to be a nuisance.

With threatening clouds, we briefly descended to a suspension bridge over the Khari Khola before a strenuous climb up to Buspa (2347m/7700').
