Landslide that destroyed a village.

Suspension bridge over the Liku Khola.
We then made a steep descent in hot and humid conditions to a suspension bridge over the Liku Khola at 2012m/6,600'. Above the bridge on a hill side there was a house flying a communist flag. Padam told me that the Communist party was free to fly their flag. I do not know if this would be tolerated in Kathmandu though.
We proceeded upstream along the south bank of the Liku Khola to cross a small bridge over the Kenja Khola. Ten minutes beyond was Kenja (1634m/5360'), our lunch stop.

Our campsite in Sete. Tent entrances only a few feet from the dropoff.
After lunch, it was a strenuous ascent up to our campsite in Sete, arriving just after 3pm with the clouds closing in.
One of the more comical highlights of the walk-in was when Jagat, one of our lead guides, ended up being a waiter for the lodge. He scurried around taking orders from several trekkers staying at the lodge. One of the trekkers got the impression that Jagat worked at the lodge!
